What's the difference between annual and one-time?
Annual (RM 720 / RM 1,500 per year) is like a subscription — you keep using it and getting updates & support while it's paid. A one-time purchase (on request) lets you own a perpetual licence up front, with optional yearly upkeep for updates & support. Either way, your business data is always yours.
Do I own the software?
You buy a licence to use GearGrid; the data you store is always yours. The software itself (the code) stays ours — that's normal for all commercial software.
Can I upgrade from Standard to Pro later?
Yes, any time — you just move to a Pro licence key and the extra modules unlock. Nothing is reinstalled.
Is there really no monthly cloud fee?
Correct. GearGrid runs on your own shop PC, so there's no recurring hosting bill — only your yearly licence (or a one-time purchase).
